How does open play work?
As a member, you’ll receive a De Gracht Membership Card. Simply show your card when you arrive, and we’ll check you in so you can enjoy all the benefits of your membership, including unlimited open play.
Open play is available whenever tables are free and there are no paying guests waiting to use them. If paying guests are waiting for a table, we kindly ask you to finish your game so the table can be made available.
I'd like to join a team. What should I do?
Joining a team allows you to compete alongside other members against pool teams from across the league.
Most members find a team by getting to know other players at De Gracht and joining an existing team.
Can’t find a team? No problem. You’re always welcome to start a new one together with other members who aren’t yet part of a team.
When are league matches played?
The league season runs from September through June. Matches are scheduled via CueScore in consultation with the opposing teams.
As a member, you can enjoy open play from September through August, subject to the applicable membership terms. League matches may be scheduled on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
What happens at the Members Event?
We’re keeping that a surprise for now. What we can tell you is that it will be announced well in advance, and it will be a full day of fun, food and great company.
Once the date is announced, you’ll want to mark it in your calendar right away.
Why do you charge a membership fee?
Just like a sports club, we ask our members to contribute through an annual membership fee. This allows us to continually invest in the quality of our facilities and the overall experience at De Gracht.
We cover the majority of these investments ourselves. Your membership fee helps us maintain a high-quality venue in the heart of Amsterdam, where everyone can enjoy the game in a welcoming and well-maintained environment.
